Locked doesn't mean out of reach. You can withdraw your own contributions from a locked pot before it releases. An early-withdrawal fee may apply, and the app shows you the exact amount before you confirm. In a group pot, the other members vote on your request first, so nobody can take out more than they put in and nobody is caught off guard.

Create your pot
Name it, set a target, and pick a lock rule: time-based, approval-based, or flexible. Saving with others? Invite them by email or username and set what each person aims to contribute.
Add money
Verify your identity with Stripe, then top up your LockN wallet by card or bank transfer. The funding fee for your chosen method is shown before you confirm.
Contribute and track
Move money from your wallet into your pot whenever you like. Watch progress in real time, and in a group pot see what everyone has put in.
Release, or withdraw early
When the unlock date arrives or the group votes yes, the pot pays out to members automatically. Need it sooner? Withdraw your own contributions early. A fee may apply and is shown before you confirm.

Rules enforced on the server
Lock rules, releases, and early withdrawals are enforced by LockN's backend, not just by the screen in front of you. A group pot's majority vote cannot be skipped from any device, and nobody can withdraw more than they contributed.
